The World Roller Games open in the city
From 4 to 14 July, Barcelona will be the world roller capital, as it hosts the 2nd edition of the World Roller Games. The city therefore becomes the epicentre of the little wheel, and all residents can enjoy this huge event in various spaces.
In fact, there will be 13 venues spread over 5 cities, although most of these venues will be in the Catalan capital. See details of all the venues below:
Palau Sant Jordi – Consult the programme
The Palau is the scene for the opening and closing ceremonies (4 July at 20:30, and 14 July at 21:00). It will also host skateboarding, scooter, artistic and roller freestyle competitions.
Sant Jordi Club – Consult the programme
Artistic and inline freestyle skating will be held at this venue.
Esplanada Anella Olímpica – Consult the programme
The place for skateboarding and roller freestyle.
This venue is also the location of Roller Land, with stalls and activities for everyone.
Parc Montjuïc and Passeig del Migdia – Consult the programme
Downhill and alpine trials.
Palau Blaugrana – Consult the programme
The rink hockey competition is held here.
Front Marítim – Consult the programme
The venue in which the speed discipline takes place.
Av. Diagonal and Passeig de Gràcia – Consult the programme
The speed competition is held here.
CEM La Mar Bella – Consult the programme
The Municipal Sport Centre hosts the inline hockey competition.

There are also various supporting host cities of BWRG2019. Some disciplines are also taking place at the following venues: Pavelló Municipal d’Esports Riera Seca, in Mollet del Vallès; CEM Isaac Gàlvez, in Vilanova i La Geltrú; ZEM Rambla Celler, in Sant Cugat del Vallès and the Poliesportiu Municipal de la Maurina, in Terrassa.
