Hip Horns Brass Collective arrives at La Mercè with a powerful and versatile show. Comprised of jazz and modern music musicians with an original formula and a unique sound, the band will mix New Orleans brass with hip-hop, funk, soul, and the groove characteristic of African-American music in this concert.  

With musicians who regularly perform with artists such as C.Tangana or Nathy Peluso, Hip Horns Brass Collective has elevated the concept of a concert to an energetic and fiery jazz party, with the presence of a powerful wind section and a stage version that includes collaborations with renowned artists and hosts like Ana Tijoux, Rodrigo Laviña or Las Ninyas del Corro. In this occasion, they are joined by the musician and host from Madrid, Escandaloso Xpósito, one of the pioneers in the fusion of hip-hop and jazz in Spain, who both delivers his rhymes and plays the saxophone, straddling between tradition and the avant-garde. His participation adds even more intensity and impact to a show designed for Mercè Music.
