Cultural activist and music producer Daria Kolomiec brings Ukrainian music everywhere to make it known: DJ Daria’s sessions are a journey from the 70s funk to the most current electronic music. Her performances have a strong element of activism: her mission is to give a voice to Ukraine on the rest of the planet and to prevent the world from forgetting the people who live there and are fighting to regain its sovereignty. With this purpose, in the summer of 2022, she travelled to New York with a suitcase full of records; in just five weeks, she performed at New York Pride and various clubs in the heart of Manhattan, and caught the attention of major media outlets, such as the New York Times and TIME Magazine, which recognized her as a leading figure of her generation.

DJ Daria knows the hidden gems of Ukrainian music: at Mercè Music, she will reveal rare and exclusive vinyl records and tell us the real stories hidden behind each of her songs. DJ Daria’s concerts are much more than a dancing session: they are a unique opportunity to understand Ukraine, its history, and its culture. This is her fight.
