At 16, she was already accompanying her brothers René Pérez and Eduardo Cabra as the singer and backing vocalist for Calle 13. Her stage presence also captivated figures like Kevin Johansen and Jorge Drexler; Ileana Cabra, the young Puerto Rican artist known as iLe, was destined to compose her music and take it everywhere: the entire world is her stage.

iLevitable (2016), her debut album, captivated the audience and specialized press with its intimate tone and meticulous production, catering to exquisite tastes. Styles that combined the classic sound of Latin genres with a modern independent twist, deserving the Grammy for Best Rock/Urban/Alternative Album. The second album, Almadura (2019), tackled intimate and collective conflicts, while the third, Nacarile, explores her immense talent and creativity as a singer-songwriter.

iLe manages to express, through music, what cannot be said with words alone. She even ventures into the hip-hop she performed with Calle 13; her live performances incorporate different genres: a collage of astral synthesizers, irreverent art pop, and colourful melodies. At Mercè, she will perform accompanied by two guitars, drums, and keyboards.
