A music producer, vocalist and composer, the Ukrainian Maryana Klochko will be offering a powerful and yet delicate live performance. Fragile vocalisations and fantastic songs, souls at the crossroads of electronica melancholy, rhythm and synthesised alienation: a sombre romance of solitude performed through the dark aesthetics of bunkers and experimental pop music. Her voice transports us to an uncertain place, with mysterious resonances; it’s the unconscious, a constant in her work.

Klochko seeks balance through vocal parts between what is real and fictitious and between the specific and dreams. The singer-songwriter sees music as a narration, by creating visual images through composition, ideas that seem to come to life in her creations.

Trained at the Lviv Academy of Arts, in Ukraine, Klochko received an artistic education that has strongly influenced her perception of music. Her work focuses on experimental music, pop, club, post-apocalyptic folk and environment, both on stage and in film soundtracks.

Listening to Maryana Klochko takes you into an unknown universe; sometimes even disturbing but always captivating.
