It’s that time of year when the maids and butlers of the Palauet Albèniz put on their finest clothes to entertain, amuse and get a laugh and smile from the people queueing to visit the Palauet Albéniz, one of the architectural gems of the 1929 Universal Expo, as it opens to the general public for La Mercè. This is an authentic festival, with songs, dancing, improvisation, magic, parodies and bags of humour: Minyones i majordoms will be offering its finest repertoire to make the wait as spectacular as the actual visit to the building!

The members of the Robert Gobern company are domestic staff who will be singing and dancing on the staircase of the palace to entertain people queueing to get in. Besides Gobern himself, we’ll find Abel Garcia, Jaume Amatller Notxa, Toni Poch, Yolanda Sikara, Tanit Salvadó, Mamen Alcázar, Montse Pelfort, Xènia Castelltort, Pere Pelfort, Carme Aloy, Georgina de Yebra, Bernat Muñoz, Vicky Alvelo, Thais Buforn and Sergi Príncep, an experienced troupe who will receive us with full honours, as the most illustrious visitors deserve.
