What do we leave behind when we go? What do we keep? Fantasy and absurd humour provide the coordinates for No hay hueco en el jardín, a journey to a magic underground world, inhabited by some faceless beings who express themselves differently to those on the surface; fun and mischievous creatures who move as they play and play as they move, inviting us to join them. This is dance understood as a game, simple stories that prompt simple feelings.
Winner of various awards, No hay hueco en el jardín is the latest creation from a choreographer and dancer interested in connecting mind, body and soul. An artist who transforms her ideas into contemporary dance for live performances and audiovisual projects.
Trained at the Conservatori Superior de Dansa in Valencia, and later in London, Elena Puchol develops, produces and distributes interdisciplinary artistic work mostly centring on the arts of movement. No hay hueco en el jardín is a good example: fun, dance and innovation.
