Over the 3 open days visitors will be able to access all the temporary and permanent exhibitions at the Espai Bombers [Fireman Museum].

  • Guided tour. Saturday 23 from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm

Two tours will take place of the old barracks in Poble Sec, currently the Espai Bombers, or Firemen Museum, one at 11.30 am and the other at 4.30 pm. Visitors will discover the history of the Barcelona fire brigade and the building: the first purpose-built firefighter barracks to be built in the city, and the historical phenomenon that led to their construction: the International Exposition of 1929. Booking required by email to: espaibombers@bcn.cat indicating the time you wish to take the tour and the number of people.

  • Visit a fire engine Sunday 24, from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm, with access every 20 minutes until 2.00 pm.

Visit one of the fire-fighters’ current fire engines, with explanations from active fire fighters. Booking required by email to: espaibombers@bcn.cat indicating the time you wish to visit and total number of people.
