Orkestrònia is an interactive sound installation made up of unusual and unique musical instruments: large drums with springs and metal pieces coming out of them which act as notes on a xylophone, bicycle wheels, chairs with metal tubes through them, machines and old motors, metal circles and more... Various recovered materials available for participants to compose their own improvised symphonies.
Participants interact and experiment with these sounds individually or in pairs, with microphones conveniently placed so that the musicians can hear the sounds through headphones. Effects are applied to the original sound to generate textures and atmospheres that will surprise you!
Orkestrònia is a living project by La Cresta, a project borne out of the restlessness of its creator, Àlex Rigol, to experiment with music and its boundaries.
