For all audiences
A dozen artists from all over Spain who have participated in different Clowns without Borders expeditions (Lebanon, Sierra Leone, Turkey and Ecuador, among others) are participating in La Mercè to make everyone laugh. After all ... ‘laughter knows no borders’! At the entrance to the Parc de l’Aqüeducte, and at other spots around the park, they will entertain the public with humour, magic and juggling.
Likewise, Pep Callau (morning) and Més Tumàcat (afternoon) will invite the audience to take part in a passacaglia that will wend its way around different points in the Ciutat Meridiana, Vallbona and Torre Baró neighbourhoods, a parade which will include music and circus and encourage residents to join it and have loads of fund. The audience will already be familiar with Més Tumàcat from the morning, on the park's big stage, where they will sing songs from their new album and made the audience laugh with their antics. Pep Callau is an entertainer and showman who is capable of mobilising the masses, and their hearts. His shows, which provide true catharsis through humour and fun, have been put on all over Catalonia as well as in performances of Clowns without Borders, an NGO which he has partnered with from day one.
