La Mercè is bringing Parc de l’Aqüeducte an outstanding circus representation from Andalusia, with companies such as Circo Rolabola which will be presenting a purely circus show, where risks, tension, abilities, comedy and audience participation play an essential part.

And to take part in this solidarity circus festival organised by Clowns without Borders, the company will be revisiting the acrobatics numbers, juggling and other techniques and disciplines that brought laughter to children in Palestine.

Created as a professional circus company over twenty-five years ago, Rolabola has been involved in numerous initiatives, from managing collective spaces to providing artistic advice for festivals and producing shows. And, of course, joining international cooperation projects such as the PSF's.

The 2017 National Circus Prize bears testimony to the quality of a company which, in Riures per Palestina will be bringing four great artists to the basketball court for so young and old can to watch in amazement as they perform their balancing acts and aerial acrobatics and, above all, laugh bravely with a universal art that can create spaces of happiness in areas of armed conflict.
