A violinist prepares for a concert. Size matters to her, and she wants to go bigger, to play more and more, to the very limit! Her need to go bigger and better in her career and deliver the best to her audience leads to a state of ecstasy that she might not be able to come down from.

Ambition is an ardent desire for riches, fame, power and honours. How far are we prepared to go? Ambicions is a street arts show with live music, full of critical reflection, poetry and good humour. The show is created and performed by the actress, clown and musician Marta Sitjà, who prompts smiles and admiration wherever she goes.

A member of Pallassos Sense Fronteres, Sitjà has been involved in projects to provide emotional and psychological support for women who have suffered gender violence in Lebanon: Ambicions is part of a festival of laughs that PSF have taken to conflict zones and which they are reuniting at the Parc de l’Aqüeducte to mark their anniversary. Marta Sitjà is the protagonist of a project which has also enjoyed special collaboration from Leandre Ribera, Pablo Ibarluzea, Nerea Cordero and Jimena Cavalletti. Everything’s ready for this great concert!
