ANDARE is a tragicomedy based on real events. A performance that invites us to discover the experiences of Imra, a young woman who has been forced to leave her home with a single suitcase full of memories and the experiences she has witnessed and fought for with the people she loves. Lost in an unknown land, Imra will cry, laugh, scream and make herself respected and loved.
In hopes of denouncing how we are manipulated, bombarded and expelled from our territories, ANDARE is an emotionally intense journey in which the audience experiences first-hand what life is like in a society that does not tolerate critical views or dissident ideas, in a land of conflict where the uncertainty of living or dying is part of everyday reality.
The projects created by the IMPÀS Company are born from the impulse and the need to make dance more accessible, by tying it in with other artistic disciplines. Through humour and nostalgia, ANDARE aims to raise awareness and make us conscious of what other people suffer in our shared world. The audience will actively participate in this journey towards their own realities, which close and real and yet unknown.
Duration: 45 minutes.
