For all audiences
Emerging and New Tendencies: (in)stabilities in Open Space captures the essence of two circus companies; an allusion to the constant search for balance in circus disciplines and the emotional uncertainty in their creative processes. The Cia. Bragacadavra will present Free Fall for People with Vertigo, in which contradiction, care and fall, both physically and emotionally, are examined through acrobatics, dance and theatre. The PSM Collective, specialising in monocycle lifts, will showcase Ça-turne, a project that seeks to reinvent this discipline through a choreographic tribute to the universe. An invitation to join a journey of exploration and discovery, open to new experiences and perspectives of the circus.
Lola Carandell and Amalia Hidalgo, members of Bragacadavra, are ready to explore a creative language based on the scenic codes of acro-dance, absurdity and physical theatre. As for PSM (Portes Sur Monocycle) is a collaboration between artists from Quebec, Catalonia, Brazil and France. Four cultures united by the circus.
La Central del Circ has selected both companies to participate in MAC 2023.
Duration: 1 hour.
