A bed in a square. A clown getting ready to go to sleep. Noises, surprises, laughs and other adversities however, prevent him from resting and drive him to Insomnia... The new production from Dudu Arnalot is a gestural clown show, without words, packed with crazy, surrealist situations. A poetic, dreamlike and moving journey that will surprise the audience and leave smiles on the faces of young children. 

Dudu started clowning spontaneously and naturally when he was little. These early acts marked the start of a career that has taken him all over Europe as a member of companies like Cous Cous Clown, La Fura dels Baus and Cirque du Soleil, and as the creator of his own theatre and street shows. Clowns and gestural theatre are the languages used to transmit the concerns and contentment of his characters, like this clown who is unable to get to sleep despite his determination to do so: wherever he goes, he takes with him his cushion and blanket, just in case he gets lucky.

Insomni has been touring for more than five years, and is paying a brief visit to Barcelona, at the Palauet Albéniz, to have a short nap in its square. Will he manage to do it?
