El Nadal a casa fills Carrer d’Aragó with the warmth of people's homes through humour and everyday phrases. The messages connect with both adults and children and evoke typical scenes of meals and family moments, but move away from the conventional Christmas phrases that we usually find everywhere at this time of year. This project aims to connect emotionally with local residents and visitors alike and to revive the oral tradition of Christmas from a contemporary and accessible perspective.
From a formal point of view, to highlight the contemporary nature of the proposal, a condensed and modern typography has been chosen that breaks with the more traditional graphic styles. We opt for bright colours that bring festivity, but that move away from the typical Christmas colours.
Lighting: A series of 28 banners between 8 and 12 metres long and 2.20 metres high with messages visible from different angles.
