Lighting is a key element that helps boost the city's commercial activity during the Christmas season. Thanks to the shopkeepers' associations, 19 sections of streets are illuminated to connect neighbourhoods and strengthen local commerce. Lighting is also reinforced as part of the Neighbourhood Plan and in areas where the local shops may be affected by long-term works.

Do not miss the 25 reindeer-shaped totems scattered throughout the city! They are the symbol of Christmas in Barcelona and invite you to follow the light through the city's neighbourhoods.

Various facilities and venues in Barcelona managed by BSM are included in the festival map with special activities and Christmas-themed events aimed at families and children.

Barcelona Zoo, Tibidabo, the Olympic Port and Park Güell are joining the Christmas programme of events with their own initiatives that complement the Barcelona Christmas Lights, expanding the scope of the festival beyond the city centre and reinforcing its civic and family character.
