Chopin, Piazzolla, Albéniz and Schumann share line-up

The ‘Clàssica els Dijous’ cycle at the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi continues during the month of March.

Four more Thursdays of musical programming with the cycle ‘Clàssica els dijous’ at the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi. The concerts, which began last January, continue this March, the next one being on Thursday 4, with pianist Elena Lasco and violinist Uliana Porotikova. The duo brings you a repertoire that takes you on a journey from the classic to the modern with pieces by Chopin, Beethoven, Kreisler, Mompou and Lasco herself. The following Thursday 11 takes the title of ‘Confluences’, a concert performed by guitarist Huayma Tulián and flutist Jaime Goicoechea with pieces by Loeillet, Piazzolla, Amargós and Bartók.

Pianist Fedor Veselov will be the protagonist on Thursday 18 with a repertoire of ‘Classical Notes’ composed by works by Albéniz, Liszt, Chopin and Prokofiev. The month will end on Thursday 25 with a concert entitled ‘Love and Life of a Woman’, a repertoire by Schumann and Tchaikovsky with soprano Milica Jovičić accompanied by pianist Olga Kobékina. All this in the Auditorium of the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi, on Thursdays at 8 pm.

Tickets are priced at 12 euros and you can book them by sending an email to comunicacion@musicalinnovators.net. These will be collected and paid for on the spot 30 minutes before the concert.
