Chan Marshall, better known as Cat Power

Cat Power presents her latest album at Razzmatazz

The US singer-songwriter to perform on 1 November in a concert that is part of the Cruïlla de Tardor festival.

Barcelona will be one of the first cities in the world to hear live performances of the songs from the latest album by Cat Power. Wanderer, her first release following six years of silence,, has just hit the market this October, and the Atlanta singer-songwriter has begun a long tour that will take her from her country of origin to Australia. In Barcelona she will be appearing at Sala Razzmatazz on 1 November.

Eleven songs make up the new album by Chan Marshall, better known as Cat Power, her tenth studio album since her solo debut, 1995's Dear Sir. Since the release of that album, which featured tracks influenced by punk, folk and blues, her sound has evolved, incorporating elements of soul and electronica. On Wanderer she collaborated with a number of musician freinds, including Lana Del Rey.

The concert will begin at 9pm, though the doors of the Razzmatazz will open an hour and a half earlier. Additional information is available at the following link.
