India Martínez

Final stretch of the year full of concerts by Guitar Bcn

There will be performances by María Peláe, La Sra. Tomasa, India Martínez and Carlos Sadness.

If you want live music, you might want to know that the Guitar Bcn festival has rescheduled four artists whose performances had to be cancelled due to the pandemic for until the end of the year. You can enjoy the concerts of María Peláe, La Sra. Tomasa, India Martínez and Carlos Sadness. The festival also announced on its website (and tickets can now be purchased) the concerts scheduled between February and July next year. We’ll talk about it later!

María Peláe, from Málaga, does not hide the fact that her music is influenced by Lola Flores, Rocío Jurado and Celia Cruz, but, without renouncing her roots, she has been able to connect with young audiences, probably because she also includes modern sounds and rhythms to her songs, which contain customary lyrics with social criticism and humour. On November 27, she will perform in the Sala Barts at 6.30 pm and 9 pm. Two performances will bring La Sra. Tomasa to the same stage on December 13, a group that is characterised by the constant evolution and musical renewal. Five days later, in this case in the Auditori del Fòrum, it will be the turn of India Martínez, an artist with fifteen years of background experience, collaborations with Pitingo, David Bisbal and Niña Pastori, or awards such as the 2015 Goya to the best song - part of the film El Niño, by Daniel Monzón. Before the end of the year, there will still be time for Carlos Sadness and his band to take the stage at the Sant Jordi Club. It will be on December 19 at 9 pm.
