In Museu is running for the 4th time
In Museum is being held for another year running, with a broader range of centres and disciplines.
If you want to visit your favourite museums and cultural centres, In Museu is giving you the chance to discover them in a different and very special way. Thanks to this initiative you’ll have access to spaces and works that aren’t normally on display for the public, alongside professionals who work there and know more about them than anyone. Specialist guides, curators or archivists will show you museums and centres in many different fields (culture, history, science, art, etc.) to raise more awareness about these platforms for conserving and promoting Barcelona’s heritage.
Saturday, 1 February will see In Museum running for the fourth time, with more disciplines and centres taking part. You’ll have the chance to visit: Castell de Montjuïc, Born CCCM, Laboratori de Natura at the Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona, Museu de la Música, Museu del Disseny de Barcelona, Museu Etnològic i de Cultures del Món, Fundació Joan Miró, MACBA, MUHBA, Museu Frederic Marès, MNAC and Reial Monestir de Santa Maria de Pedralbes.
Tours will be running all day in Catalan and Spanish. The price of the tours is €2 and will be free for people under the age of 16 but you'll need to register in advance since there are limited places.
