Palau Baró de Quadras

Nits Singulars in the most iconic houses

On evenings from July to September, some of the most emblematic buildings are opening their doors with a variety of tours.

Cases Singulars (Unique Houses) is a project that hosts guided tours to some of the most iconic buildings in Barcelona so you can get to know them in a different way. Throughout the year, they guide small groups of people around different emblematic buildings in an original, engaging and highly interesting way. In the summertime, not only don’t they stop these tours but they have also prepared the Nits Singulars (Unique Nights) tours so that you can take advantage of the cooler hours to learn the secrets of our city.

So, from July to September, five buildings are opening their doors in the evening to host different kinds of tours. Every Tuesday in July at 7 pm, you can enter the Arús Library to stroll through the building and its Sherlock Holmes collection. From 2 to 16 July, also Tuesdays at 7 pm, Casa Rocamora will open so you can visit it without rushing. On Wednesdays from 3 July to 28 August at 8 pm, you will have the chance to walk through the Palau Baró de Quadras guided by an extraordinary dramatized tour. A similar experience will be offered at Casa Museu Amatller on Thursdays from 4 July to 19 September at 7 pm in English and 8 pm in Spanish and Catalan. Finally, every day from Thursday to Saturday at 7 pm you can learn the story of the restoration of Casa Batlló firsthand. Some of these tours are accompanied by a glass of wine as the perfect nightcap.

The activities cost €15 to €29 depending on the experience you’re looking for. You’ll find all the information on the Cases Singulars website.
