Polo Music Festival, a new festival with big international names

Jason Derulo, David Bisbal and Luz Casal are just some of the artists who will be performing in early June.

Anytime a new festival springs up in Barcelona, it comes with very high expectations. There are already loads of top-notch music events in our city, and it’s hard to measure up. The Polo Music Festival is a newcomer that is making quite a splash, held at the Reial Club de Polo and featuring an exciting line-up of big names. One of the best things about the list of performers is the wide variety of styles and audiences. So, the line-up includes a favourite among young people, Ana Guerra (6/06), the experienced Luz Casal (8/06), Spanish phenomenon David Bisbal (9/06), and Jason Derulo (10/06), one of the most popular singers in the world right now. Plus, the festival will also see the much-awaited reunion, after 30 years, of The Original Alan Parsons Project Band THE PROJECT (5/06), one of the most important music engineering/production teams of the 1970s and 1980s. The festival will finish off with Pablo López (31/05 and 1/06), well-known singer/songwriter and coach on La Voz, and flamenco legend Miguel Poveda (7/06).

The Polo Music Festival will take place from 31 May through 10 June starting at 9:30 pm, at the Reial Club de Polo. The goal, they say, is to meet the demand for music in Barcelona just before summer and, specifically, in the upper part of the city. Plus, the audience will get to enjoy up to four different types of concerts, depending on the layout of the stands and capacity.

Ticket prices range from €40 to €180 per concert, depending on the artist and seats. You can get your tickets on the festival website.
