Premiere of “Todas las mujeres”, starring Eduard Fernández

The film, a dramatic comedy directed by Mariano Barroso, opens in cinemas on the 18th of October

Directed by Barcelona-born Mariano Barroso, Todas las mujeres tells the story of Nacho, a middle-aged vet who confronts all the significant women in his life, his lover, his mother, his psychoanalyst, his friend, his sister-in-law and his ex-girlfriend, in order to resolve a series of pending issues.

The film was formerly a television series on the pay-per-view channel TNT and has been transformed into a full-length film starring Catalan actor Eduard Fernández, who has collaborated with Barroso on previous occasions in Lobos de Washington (Washington Wolves) and Hormigas en la Boca (Ants in the Mouth). The female cast, on the other hand, consists of Lucía Quintana, Michelle Jenner, Petra Martínez, María Morales, Marta Larralde and Nathalie Poza.

The film is an attempt to construct a reality from six different points of view and, according to the director, “each of the women interact with the Nacho character, so the result is a kind of multiple reality”. The film opens in cinemas on the 18th of October.
