SÂLMON< Festival 2020

Another year of SÂLMON< Festival

This marks the 8th year that the festival is running with a really interesting line-up.

Describing SÂLMON< Festival d’Arts Vives de Barcelona is no easy task. A place for meetings, reunion, exchange and art creation. An open, collective space for acting as a city which reflects its management and organisational model shared across its line-up that seeks to focus on local artists and creatives. At SÂLMON< Festival the true value of the work is in the process and not the result. The events and activities are spread out across various spaces in Barcelona such as Mercat de les Flors, Antic Teatre, MACBA and Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació i Centre d’Art Contemporàni de Barcelona, which is where most of the activities will be located in the field of Art, Education and Communities. At the festival you’ll find a wide range of figures, such as Alex Peña, Susanne Kennedy & Helena Eckert, Georgia Vardarou, Los Voluble and Paz Rojo, all centred around many different disciplines.

SÂLMON< Festival will take place from 30 January to 16 February, though we recommend checking out the line-up because some activities run on days before the official opening. You’ll see some run for various days, and some have specific times.

The prices of some tickets start at €8 but other activities are free of charge if you book in advance. You can find all the information you need and the schedule on the festival website.
