Tales for all ages at the Harlem Jazz Club

From October 10 until next January 30, it starts a program of fascinating storytelling sessions, "Contes i cuentos al Harlem Jazz Club"

19 seasons of Contes i Cuentos already. Since 1997, 173 storytellers have filled with tales the imaginations of spectators, over 613 sessions. This project of oral storytelling has organized for seven years a cycle of tales for adults at the Harlem Jazz Club in Barcelona.

Everyone likes to be told a good story that makes you dream. So, it never hurts to approach the cycle of stories which is held annually in the known local jazz.
Contes i Cuentos was born with the noble intention of recovering the lost spirit of continuous dream, the reality tailored.

Contes i Cuentos al Harlem Jazz Club  is an initiative of collective Contesicuentos as well as members of Anin, Associació de Narradores i Narradors. With the collaboration of Harlem, one of the most charismatic jazz clubs of the city, its annual program of stories for adults has become one of the most successful of the city. This season, the cycle runs until January.

This October, the series debuts with Això ací no passa… No passa ni poc, a narrative in Valencia by Almudena Francés, that will take us on 10 October on a journey through thick forests and cold oceans; October 17 the Japanese Yoshi Hioki will present Una escama del dragón, mil cuentos de Japón; October 24 will be the turn of the Venezuelan Alexander Hernández, with his narrative Omumbo Rombomba;  and will close this first month of the cycle another Venezuelan, Isabela Méndez, with Cuentos con busto y gusto.

In addition to the sensational music that usually fills one of the best jazz clubs in the city, we can also find good stories told under the floodlights. How to resist?
