The best of ‘Creació i Museus’ at Born CCM

The project brought together creative factories and museums to finally present five productions as a part of Festival Grec 2019.

During Festival Grec, five artistic creations that came out of the Creació i Museus” (Creation and Museums) programme were presented. The goal was to bring together creative factories and various museums to develop offerings that diverged from normal expectations and were based on different collections, heritage and memory. This November you'll have a chance to see a sample of these projects at an event in Born CCM. The event will start out with a talk by Fréderic Mazelly, the head of cultural programming at La Villette in Paris. This will be followed by a talk with Teresa Macià, the head of activities at Museu d’Història de Barcelona and Ferran Murillo, head of Teatre Tantarantana. Lastly, viewers can get a little taste of the five pieces in “Creació i Museus”. The pieces were Extremadamente rebeldes y peligrosas (Extremely Rebellious and Dangerous) by the company Paradiso 99, Teatre Tantarantana and Born CCM, Paisagem de Passagem (A Landscape of Landscape) by Alice Rende, Jardí Botànic and La Central del Circ, 10 Atlàntides (Ten Atlantises) by Fabra i Coats and Museu d'Història, Nightingale  by Ana Barroso, Graner and Castell de Montjuïc, and La Colección. Guinea Ecuatorial 1948-1961 (The Equatorial Guinea Collection 1948-1961) by Laida Azkona, Txalo Toloza, Museu Etnològic and La Caldera.

This activity will take place on 16 November at 6 pm at Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria.

“Creació i Museus” is open and free for everyone. You can find all the information on the Fàbriques de Creació de Barcelona website.
