Virtual exhibitions on the Museu del Disseny’s website

The Museu del Disseny, at home

From the Museum's website you can visit the exhibitions virtually.

Fashion, ceramics, furniture... This and much more can be found on the website of the Museu del Disseny, almost a dozen virtual exhibitions to recover many of the displays that took place last year. If you are interested in fashion, you can visit ‘El cos vestit’, a journey through history according to the clothing of each era where you will see how it influenced the appearance and the importance it had. You can also take a tour of ‘Distinció’, an evolution of fashion photography, from its origins in the early 20th century to the present day. If you’re more into furniture, your exhibit is ‘The Magic Curve’, a selection of pieces from different eras but with one thing in common: the curve.

Pottery lovers will also find more options. For example, you can revisit ‘Rajoles i oficis’, a sample of ceramic tiles with representations of the most important jobs between the 17th and 19th centuries, or ‘La cursa de braus’ and ‘La xocolatada’, a tour of two unique pieces from the exhibition ‘Extraordinàries!’. In ‘Plats del dia’ you will find contemporary ceramic pieces and originals, and in ‘En construcció. Ceràmica i arquitectura’ you will discover the uses and functions of architectural ceramics.

You can find all this in the ‘Virtual Exhibitions’ section of the website, where you can also visit the Museum’s permanent exhibitions.
