A walk through La Pedrera with Toni Mira

The actor, dancer and choreographer will host and offer his particular look at the emblematic building by Antoni Gaudí.

Toni Mira is known for being an actor, dancer and choreographer, and founder of the dance company Nats Nus. What perhaps not many people know is that he also studied up to his fourth year of Architecture at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona. He has also been professionally linked on several occasions to La Pedrera - he conceived and was the artistic director of the show that was made for the 100th anniversary of the Antoni Gaudí building, in 2012.  He was also the curator of the Dansa Ara a La Pedrera series program between 2009 and 2012.  It is clear that the Barcelonan could not miss the series A walk through La Pedrera with..., organized this summer by Casa Milà. The choreographer will guide through the well-known building to those who have registered for the visit taking place on Saturday, September 5th at 11 am.

With Toni Mira, the participants will stroll through the interior patios, climb to the roof of the warriors, the attic of the whale and tour the rooms of the neighbors. On their own they can also visit the Gaudí Room and the temporary exhibition on the main floor. A walk through La Pedrera with ... is an exclusive experience that goes beyond the traditional visit.  It allows for establishing a direct connection between the host and visitor, with dynamic formats that are both relaxed and intimate. After Mira's visit, the next walk through La Pedrera in the series will be on September 19th by the hand of the writer and journalist Llucia Ramis.
