Acord Barcelona per a l’Ocupació de Qualitat (ABOQ 2021-2030) is the new strategic framework for deploying quality employment policies in the city of Barcelona for the next decade.

ABOQ 2021-2030 is the result of the consensus between Barcelona Activa, the Barcelona City Council, the Public Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC), the main social and economic agents and more than 50 civil and third social sector organizations of the city and the metropolitan area of Barcelona.

The main objective of the agreement is to define quality employment strategies in a joint and consensual manner. It focuses on social and territorial coordination and applies a perspective of social transformation, sustainability and innovation. In addition, social inequalities affecting access to the labor market and working conditions are addressed from an intersectional point of view.

ABOQ is aligned with the city's economic agenda, the Barcelona Green Deal and the SDGs. It has as a frame of reference the different international strategies to promote quality employment and decent work.
