Access to housing is the main concern of Catalans. Given this situation, the Consell Econòmic i Social de Barcelona proposed the need to evaluate the situation of the housing stock in the city of Barcelona and the Metropolitan Region, which has materialized in the drafting of the study ‘The housing stock in the city of Barcelona and the Metropolitan Region’, by Luis Fernández, a research and studies analyst.

The event will be chaired by the President of the Council, Mr. Eduardo Rojo and will include the intervention of the Commissioner for Housing of the Barcelona City Council, Mr. Joan Ramon Riera. Lluís Fernández, co-author of the study and the economic and social agents represented in the Council, CCOO, Foment del Treball Nacional de Catalunya, UGT and PIMEC will participate.
