Ana M. Vargas is a screenwriter and script analyst for various production companies and writers, as well as an organiser for the Fantboi Fantasy Film Festival in Sant Boi de Llobregat. She studied screenwriting and film direction at the Centre d’Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya. Until 2017, she taught film and TV screenwriting at several audiovisual schools in Barcelona, including Quincedeoctubre, UACE, Séptimo Arte, Acting Face and Cineenacción. Vargas is also the author and director of several theatre productions and of the short story collection Silvia Wolf, domadora de serpientes [Silvia Wolf, Snake‐Tamer]. She is the creator of the blog Cine, Series y Técnicas de Guion.
