Carlos di Urarte was born in Santander in 1980 and is a key figure in the promotion of genre literature on social media. For the past 14 years, he has worked as an editorial consultant and professional reader. He also advises authors and board game companies on storytelling. Before that, he was part of the staff at the Gigamesh bookstore in Barcelona. Di Urarte collaborates with the Phantastica writing school and has previously participated in Festival 42. He has published short stories in anthologies, but it wasn’t until 2025 that he released his first novel, Salitre y Cenizas.
