The great cosplay night: our favourite characters come to life
What could be more exciting than seeing your favourite literary characters in the flesh? And what if these characters interacted with characters from science fiction, fantasy and horror screen adaptations and video games? For this second edition, in collaboration with Barcelona Cosplay, we are inviting cosplay fans to walk the Fabra i Coats runway, with all their garments and accessories prepared for the occasion. They will do so in front of a panel made up of specialists in the field and the creators of BCN Witch Market: Sofía Guerrero (known on social media as Vampisaurus), Mara Antón and Víctor Fernández. They will decide the finalists and winners of this edition, based on elements such as execution, technique, originality, codes of the fantasy genre, runway performance and even the audience’s applause. The competition will be hosted by comedian and fantasy author Martín Piñol, who is guaranteed to bring plenty of fun to proceedings. During the deliberation period, the comedian and fantasy writer Martín Piñol will entertain the attendees with a stand-up performance.
