Laia Rubio Prats (Igualada, 1992) is an editor with a degree in translation and interpreting from English and Japanese. An editor of the illustrated short-story magazine Narranación, she also co-directs and co-hosts the radio show and podcast of the same name, all while working as a secondary-school teacher. Rubio has close ties to Japan, where she once lived. Her academic work includes a published study on Japanese folklore and mythology in Studio Ghibli films. She also takes part in cultural events, book clubs, panel discussions and chopstick duels – which she also hosts.
