Laura Tomás, born in Barcelona in 1993, is a poet, bassist and sound designer who holds degrees in sound design from ESCAC and in modern music from the Taller de Músics in Barcelona. She is the author of the poetry collection Anatomía de una tormenta [Anatomy of a Storm]. Since 2015, she has been active in performance poetry, eventually joining Las Hermanas del Desorden as a performance artist and composer, (their latest release is the album La musa suicida [The Suicidal Muse]). She has also been a member of other bands, such as Agala and Las Isabeles, and has designed the sound for more than twenty films, including No matarás [Cross the Line] (nominated for the Gaudí Awards) and The Human Hibernation (winner of the FIPRESCI Prize at the Berlinale).
