Loredana Volpe
Loredana Volpe, born in Caracas in 1990, is a writer, promoter of the work of Ursula K. Le Guin and director of the theatre company La Salamandra since 2011. She is now in residence at the Teatre Tantarantana, which co-produces the shows at this venue, including La nit dels mons [The Night of the Worlds] and Isekai: història d’un segrest [Isekai: Story of a Kidnapping]. Volpe has published the books A pesar de tu santa cólera [Despite Your Holy Wrath], Ejercicio de aniquilación [Exercise in Annihilation], La habitación cerrada [The Locked Room], ISEKAI: historia de un secuestro [ISEKAI: Story of a Kidnapping] and most recently, La noche de los mundos [The Night of the Worlds]. She coordinates the Club Le Guin (established in 2023 at La Insòlita), now based at the Gigamesh bookshop.
