Marta Armengol Royo
Marta Armengol Royo, born in Barcelona in 1986, studied audiovisual communication, literary translation and film. She works as a fiction screenwriter for film and television, as well as a translator and interpreter – a combination that allows her to pursue her two great passions: working with words and working while seated. She has translated authors such as China Miéville, Brandon Sanderson, Grady Hendrix, Christine Nöstlinger and Raina Telgemeier into Catalan and Spanish. Her recent screenwriting projects include the feature films Campamento Garra de Oso [Bear Claw Camp] and Caballé, and the series ¿A qué estás esperando? [What Are You Waiting For?] and Les Tres Bessones [The Triplets].
