Sebastià Alzamora
Sebastià Alzamora, born in Llucmajor in 1972, holds a degree in Romance languages and literatures from the University of the Balearic Islands. Although he first gained recognition with the poetry collection Rafel, his venture into speculative fiction earned him the Sant Jordi Prize for Crim de sang [Blood Crime], featuring a vampire protagonist. Years later, he won the Òmnium Award for Best Novel of the Year with Ràbia [Rage], which was also chosen by El País as the best Catalan-language novel of the year. His work has been translated into several languages.
