Maryam Assakat, better known as @maryam.and.books, is a young woman from Navarcles, a bookseller at Parcir and a TikToker. With over one and a half million followers on TikTok and more than twenty thousand on Instagram, Assekat publishes daily videos featuring literary recommendations. This influencer specialises in young-adult literature, which has made her the new face of children's and young-adult literature (YAL) on the CMMA’s SX3 (formerly Club Super3).
