Maryam Assakat Abarkan, born in Morocco in 2000, is a BookToker who discovered her love of reading at a very young age. Since then, her life has revolved around books: she began as a volunteer at her local library, later became a bookseller and now works in publishing. A few years ago, she began sharing her passion on social media, where she has built a community of over one million followers on TikTok. Her favourite genres are fantasy, poetry and non-fiction.
