AMBici bikes now in circulation in the metropolitan area!
The public service providing electric bikes is now operating in six of the fifteen municipalities in the metropolitan area where it is to be rolled out. A metropolitan subscription and seven interchanges will allow users to combine the use of the AMBici and Bicing services.
The service currently operates 55 stations and over 600 bicycles in Cornellà de Llobregat, Esplugues de Llobregat, El Prat de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Sant Joan Despí and Sant Just Desvern.
Once the service is completely rolled out over the coming months, AMBici will also reach Sant Adrià de Besòs, Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Badalona, Molins de Rei, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Castelldefels, Viladecans and Gavà. In all, the service will operate 2,600 bicycles and 236 stations.

A metropolitan subscription for AMBici and Bicing is to be activated in March, enabling users to access both services. Seven connecting stations are also planned to link the services and allow users to switch from one to another.
