A ditch of 0.8 – 1.5 metres in depth has to be built on the north side of Passeig de Montjuïc, the non-mountain side, from Carrer de Palaudàries to the Camí de la Font Trobada intersection, between 3 July and 19 August. The ditch will run underneath this line of services and parking facilities, which will not be in operation between those dates. The parking spaces and services on the other side, the mountain side, will also be shut down in order to divert traffic so that two lanes of traffic – one in each direction – can be kept open.

The ditch will run across Carrer de Piquer and Carrer de Mata, which will remain accessible at all times with at least one lane of traffic open. The week from 14 to 19 August, it will go across Camí de la Font Trobada – half each day – always ensuring that local residents have access and services are running on Passeig de Miramar and Carretera de Montjuïc (the last stretch finishing on a dead end). The ditch will cross Passeig de Montjuïc on Monday, 21 August.

Work on Camí de la Font Trobada will take place from 21 August to 29 September. In this case, the ditch will run under the services and parking facilities on the mountain side. Parking will not be allowed on either side of the street during those weeks. This is to ensure that two lanes of traffic – one in each direction – remain open by diverting traffic as necessary.
