The route for the conduit starts at the Sants sub-station, in the municipality of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, and will run as far as the Mata sub-station in Poble-sec, also being routed through the Hostafrancs sub-station along the way. Cabling will use some sections of the exiting conduit, meaning there is no need to open up a new trench.

Section 1 – C/ Mèxic – Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia

Section 1.1 – C/ Mèxic. From 04/07/2022 to 26/07/2022.
Road closure in C/ Mèxic in direction to Gran Via between Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia and Sant Fructuós. The pavement on the side nearest the Besòs will also be closed. The trench dug by Endesa in this section will also be used by Agbar to install a water supply channel.

Section 1.1.2 – C/ Mèxic. From 10/10/2022 to 28/10/2022.
Road closure in C/ Mèxic in direction to Montjuïc between C/ Gimbernat and Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia. The pavement on the side nearest the Besòs will also be closed. Upstream traffic is diverted through Gimbernat and Morabos streets.

Section 1.2 – Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia. From 18/07/2022 to 01/08/2022.
Installation of conduit beneath the pavement, without affecting the road surface. Pedestrian space with a width of at least 1.80 metres.

Section 2 – Av. Reina Maria Cristina – Av. Rius i Taulet

Section 2.1 – Av. Rius i Taulet to C/ Guàrdia Urbana. From 04/07/2022 to 18/07/2022.
Installation of conduit along the pavement on the side nearest the mountain, without affecting the road surface. Pedestrian space with a width of at least 1.80 metres. Vehicle access guaranteed to reserved entrances within the trade fair site.

Section 2.2 – Junction with Av. Reina Maria Cristina. From 25/07/2022 to 29/07/2022.
By the pedestrian crossing halfway along the avenue itself (with no traffic lights), in three stages: firstly the Besòs side, then the Llobregat side, and finally the central section. One traffic lane in each direction will be kept open at all times.

Section 3 – Av. Rius i Taulet – Lleida – França Xica

Section 3.1 – Av. Rius i Taulet between the streets of Guàrdia Urbana and Lleida. From 2 to 19 August.
Installation of the conduit beneath the pavement nearest the mountain, affecting only one of the two Besòs-bound traffic lanes, from the junction with C/ Guàrdia Urbana as far as a new connection chamber (CE-07) beneath the road surface. From here to C/ Lleida, the conduit will also run beneath the road surface. In this section, closest to C/ Lleida, road closure in Av. Rius i Taulet in direction to Llobregat, and all vehicles will be diverted into Segons Jocs Mediterranis and Guàrdia Urbana streets.

Section 3.2 – Junction with C/ Lleida. Weekend 20 and 21 August.
Work at the junction will be carried out in two halves, leaving an uphill traffic lane open at all times but closing the junction to downhill traffic from Pg. Santa Madrona (only local residents, services, and buses will be able to access C/ Jocs dels Mediterrani). The road closure in the downhill direction will be by C/ França Xica, which all vehicles will be diverted into. Bus 55 will not go into the neighbourhood, instead heading down Maria Cristina towards Av. Paral·lel.

Section 3.3 – C/ Lleida. From 9/08/2022 to 29/08/2022.
Between C/ Mare de Déu del Remei and C/ França Xica, the conduit will run along the Besòs side of C/ Lleida, occupying just the parking and services lane. From 1/08/2022 to 8/08/2022, C/ Mare de Déu del Remei will be closed to allow for the conduit to cross over, with buses to be diverted along C/ Guàrdia Urbana. The junction with C/ França Xica will not be affected in this stage.

Sections 4 and 7 – Pg. Exposició between Radas and Creu dels Molers. From 15/10/2022 to 12/11/2022.
The execution of a chamber of electrical wiring connections under the road occupies the service lane of the Besòs side and forces the two traffic lanes, one in each direction, to deviate a little. The stop for bus 55 is permanently moved to the Creu dels Molers street.

Section 5 – Side lane nearest the sea in Gran Via between Sarah Bernhardt square and Trajan square. From 12/09/2022 to 9/10/2022. The conduit will run beneath the pavement on the side nearest the sea in Gran Via. Pedestrian space 1.80 metres wide along the side of Pl. Sarah Bernhardt.

Two crossovers will be needed in the road surface in C/ Mineria, one on each side of this square. The work, which entails the closure of C/ Mineria, will be carried out exclusively on Sundays so as not to disrupt bus services (the V5 will go up Pg. Zona Franca and Rambla Badal): civil engineering work on the Sundays of 18/09/2022 (Llobregat) and 2/10/2022 (Besòs); resurfacing, on the Sunday 9/10/2022.

Section 6 – Mountain side of Gran Via between Parcerisa and Amadeu Oller Priest.
Work postponed due to the archaeological excavation in Can Batlló.

Section 8 – Little France Street

Section 8.1 – Little France St, between the streets of Lleida and the Bòbila. From October 3 to 24. The parking and services lanes are temporarily removed, but the circulation lane is maintained for the passage of traffic and buses.

Section 8.2 – Little France St, between the streets of Bóbila and Radas. From October 24 to November 7. The parking and services lanes are temporarily removed, but the circulation lane is maintained for the passage of traffic and buses. Pedreres Street will be closed one day when the ditch will have to go through.

Section 9 – C. Radas between c. Hannibal and Exhibition promenade. From 10/17/2022 to 10/31/2022.
Road closure at Exhition promenade and diversion of traffic (and bus 55) through the Exhibition and Santa Madrona promenades until c. Lleida to go back down along França Xica, which will never be cut off.
