Security and mobility operation for the Mobile World Congress 2024

Parking restrictions will be in place in various streets in the districts of Ciutat Vella, Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Andreu, most of them on the same days as the event, which is being held from Monday, 26, to Thursday, 29 February. Extra public transport services will also be operating.

Parking will be prohibited from 7 am on Sunday, 25, to 10 pm on Thursday, 29 February, in the following streets: C/ Trelawny (side nearest the Besòs), Av. Reina Maria Cristina (both sides) and sections of C/ Alumini (side nearest the Besòs) and C/ Urani (both sides). Restrictions in one section of C/ Urani will remain in place until 10 pm on Monday, 4 March.

From the first minute of the day on Monday, 26, until the last minute of the day on Tuesday, 27 February, the parking prohibition will apply in sections of C/ Ferran Junoy (side nearest the Besòs) and C/ Tucumán (both sides) and in C/ Ciutat d’Asunción (side nearest the mountains).

During the congress, metro and FGC rail services will be bolstered to handle the increase in demand and help make travel more agile for those attending. A shuttle bus will also be laid on to connect Av. Reina Maria Cristina and Fira Gran Via, where the event is being held. For more information go to the TMB website.
