Winners announced for the Montserrat Roig Awards 2024

The 32nd edition of the Montserrat Roig Awards for Barcelona Journalism and Social Communication again highlights the value of information on social topics. This goal makes more sense than ever in a context where fake news and hate speech proliferate, undermining people’s trust in democracy, journalism and institutions. This edition attracted 47 candidacies and awarded 45,000 euros in prizes.
