The Day We Left Field is a grassy field that represents nature in one of its most basic forms. It is a floating meadow that hangs upside down on the ceiling in the hallway of Room B of the Design HUB and waves harmoniously with a series of sound and light effects. It is an immersive audiovisual installation inspired by the environment and its place in the urban landscape of modern cities. It is a piece of work through which the public becomes aware of a long list of binary oppositions, such as synthetic-natural, real-virtual or human-machine.
