Sol drives visitors to the limits of their perception in an installation that generates an ambiguous sense of loss of control, followed by alterations in consciousness and perception. The audience, immersed in absolute darkness that could be described as a perfect void, is exposed to an avalanche of flashes of abstract animations providing a series of images that persist in the retina when the darkness returns. Images gradually fade until the next light eruption is triggered.

Co-commissioned by: OK - Center for Contemporary Art, Linz, Austria; CTM Festival Berlin.
