27,500 blinks is an art installation characterised by the formation of refractions and reflections on kinetic aluminium sculptures based on the use of light rays.

These sculptures can reflect light back to its source, regardless of the angle of incidence, which is in constantly changing refraction, reflecting the light source and turning the receiving object into a source of light in itself. It contains nine light sources, 50 kinetic sculptures and a large round sculpture, all of them unified and synchronised by digital sound software.

The Argentine and Japanese artistic duo Lolo & Sosaku have been working together since 2004. Their works move between different languages, including sculpture, installation art, kinetic art, painting and music, among others, and have been displayed in exhibitions in various places in Spain, China, Romania and Brazil.
