Agorythm is a combination of the concepts of 'agora’, a meeting place, algorithm or series of parametric orders, and 'rhythm', a movement marked by patterns in time with a certain periodicity.

This is an immersive installation which presents the spectator with an artistic representation of data on Barcelona. Data that analyse air quality, electricity consumption, noise pollution and mobility in the city. Many of these data are accessible to everyone - for example, elements from Barcelona city Council’s open data have been used, as entered by Ca l’Alier, a benchmark centre in the study of smart cities.

Despite already being accessible to all, this information can be difficult to interpret. In Agorythm, Onionlab transforms it, creating a visual representation and turning it into parametrical sculptures with lights, in this way making it even more visible.
